Software engineer based in Manhattan. Most of my time goes toward building with AI — search and retrieval systems, agentic pipelines, products that try to make the technology actually useful rather than just impressive.

These days I split that between The Information, where I work on AI products for journalism, and SchoolScout, a K-12 data intelligence platform I've been building from scratch. Before that I did mobile engineering at an SF-based startup.
